Immersed in Christ. One Body. One Mission.

RCIA: THIS WEEK

All Rites, Sessions & RCIA events are canceled!!!

Even though we cannot gather at St. Monica physically, we want to continue to join one another in prayer.  We will also host online gatherings via an app called "ZOOM."  We are very excited to be in touch with all of you - and you with each other in this way!!!

Click on this picture of Anne for a message from Anne explaining how we will continue "remotely" in RCIA.

Here is our plan...

  1. All Candidates, Team and Families prayfaithfully in their own homes at 7:00 pm every Thursday evening.  This is the best part!

  2. For this time of prayer, we will have available to you a video reflection and some reflection questions - that can be PART of your prayer.

  3. Their will be a different video and set of reflection for FAMILIES and youth - but the process is the same.

  4. Finally, all the different groups in RCIA will have their own time to meet "face-to-face" using an app called ZOOM.  To get into this online group simply click the appropriate button for your RCIA group, and follow the instructions to create a free ZOOM account and connect to the group on your smart phone or computer.
For Families with children in RCIA, we plan to do our meeting at 5:00 pm Sundays.
For Adults in RCIA and their Sponsors, we plan to do this meeting at 11:30 am Sundays- right after our live-streamed St. Monica Mass.
For the High School youth in RCIA - your meeting will be on ZOOM at 7:30 pm Thursdays, right after you pray with your family.

I hope you can all join in this "new way"!!!

God bless you!  Anne Corcoran

MAN BORN BLIND REFLECTION FOR ADULTS

Reflection Questions for Sunday at 11:00 am:

What touched you the most in the story of the man born blind, John chapter 9?

What blindness keeps YOU from seeing God?  What does it mean to "live in the light"?

Do you believe that physical handicaps or struggles in life can actually result in your own happiness and greater glory to God?

Was there ever a time when you were blind, and then God gave you sight?

What might be significant about Jesus using spit and mud - and sending the blind man to the pool of Siloam?
