RCIA for Adults & Teens Baptized Catholic

Adults & Teens Baptized Catholic, But Desiring Eucharist and/or Confirmation

Any adult or high school youth baptized Catholic, who has not yet received his/her First Communion and/or Confirmation, may receive these sacraments through the RCIA.

Because they have not been "catechized" for over a period of 6 to 8 years, they can expect to spend about a year in the RCIA. During this time they will go through a series of Rites as their minds, hearts and lives are conformed more and more to Jesus Christ.

Adults can begin in RCIA at any time of year. Their Sacraments can be received during the Easter Season, or whenever they are "ready."

RCIA Sessions for adults are weekly on Thursday evenings from 7:00 pm to about 9:00 pm.

Youth, ages 7 years to 18 years, participate along with their parents.  This involves one monthly session, one very short weekly ZOOM meeting, and daily response by telephone.

For anyone, any age, call the Parish Office for help getting started OR submit this "Get Started" form.

"The rite of Christian initiation presented here is designed for adults who, after hearing the mystery of Christ proclaimed, consciously and freely seek the living God and enter the way of faith and conversion as the Holy Spirit opens their hearts. By God's help they will be strengthened spiritually during their preparation and at the proper time will receive the sacraments fruitfully."
