About the Retreat
Marriage is not a destination — it is a daily journey of love, sacrifice, and renewal. This retreat offers couples a sacred space to step away from the noise of daily life and pour intentional energy into their relationship and their faith.
What You Will Learn
It takes three types of intimacy for a marriage to thrive. These are also reflected in the three vows of Christian marriage. In a down-to-earth and often humorous style, Dr. Healy will help couples rediscover what it means to live out these vows fully and joyfully. Whether you are newly married or celebrating your 50th anniversary, whether you are flourishing or struggling, this retreat can be the next step in strengthening your marriage.

Early Registration: $40 per couple
Register by September 28 to receive the early bird rate
After September 28: $50 per couple
Because St. Monica has a limited budget for this event, your registration fee helps cover a portion of the retreat expenses. We will also be seeking additional donations and table sponsors to help make this event successful.

Dr. Jim Healy
Dr. Healy has spoken on marriage in more than 90 dioceses across the United States and beyond. His
marriage preparation materials have been used in every Catholic diocese in the country. A counseling
psychologist with over 40 years of experience working with families in the Catholic Church, he received the
Family Ministry Award from the National Association of Catholic Family Life Ministers in 2000.
