BREAKFAST Shift Manager

Job Description:  Shift 6:15 am to 1:30 pm

  • Opens Kitchen at 6:15 am
  • Manages Breakfast shift with the assistance of a second employee 
  • Prepares and serves breakfast bags to school children
  • Accounts for all breakfast served using the  meal counting sheets
  • Supports the lunch staff with various duties for lunch
  • Prepares for the following day’s breakfast 
  • Assists in receiving orders and rotating stock
  • Assists in washing food service wares 
  • Assists in clean up 

Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and desire to fulfill job specifications

Job Specifications:

  • Must have a keen sense of timeliness and understand the importance of opening a food service early in the morning.
  • Should have some food service experience
  • Be able to get along with fellow employees and school staff members
  • Be courteous and helpful to school aged children
  • Possess a desire to be a team player and be trained according to the St Monica Child Nutrition Program Regulations
  • Must have dependable transportation or ride to work
  • Must provide one reference
  • It is helpful if this applicant is bilingual
