Saint Monica Catholic Church

St. Monica Parish is dedicated to team leadership. Our Pastoral Team comes together each week to share prayer, to assist and support each other in our ministry of parish leadership.

Rev. Jeremy Gries, Associate Pastor Fr. Jeremy has been associate pastor of St. Monica since 2009. (Bio of Fr. Jeremy)
Mary Jo Thomas-Day Director of Religious Education Mary Jo has been a member of the Pastoral Team at St. Monica since 1977. She coordinates the religious education, and sacramental preparation programs for students through the sixth grade who do not attend St. Monica School. She is also responsible for our adult education and bible study programs.
Joseph Connelly Coordinator of Youth Ministry Joe has been a Youth Minister in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis since 1991. He joined the St. Monica Pastoral Team in July, 2000. Joe is responsible for faith formation, Confirmation and youth programs for 7th grade through High School.

Barb Bacon Business Manager Barb joined the Pastoral Team in 2002. She is responsible for accounting, budgeting, and cash management for the parish. Her duties include personnel, office, and facilities management.
Christine Seitz Music Director Christine has been the Music Director at St. Monica since 2001. She coordinates the many parishioners who volunteer their musical skills to the music ministry, and is responsible for all aspects of the music at Sunday and sacramental liturgies.
Anne Corcoran Pastoral Associate Anne joined the Pastoral Team in 2006. Her ministry focus includes RCIA and Small Church Communities.
Sr. Anna Marie Megel, OSB Pastoral Associate of Spanish Ministry Sr. Anna Marie, a member of Our Lady of Grace Monastery, joined the Pastoral Team in July of 2001. She is Pastor Associate of Spanish Ministry. Sister coordinates the adult sacramental program, the many various other ministries, Spanish CRSP and Continuation Committee, and visits the sick and works with St. Vincent de Paul.
