Outreach
The purpose of the St. Monica Outreach Committee is to minister to the people of our parish and to neighborhood. Its members develop bonds with other churches in the area, and enables parishioners to serve Christ by providing information to other committees/commissions of outreach opportunities. Some of the current projects of the Outreach Committee include:
- St. Vincent DePaul
- Church Care Indy
- Lord’s Pantry (Drop off non-perishable foods in the box in the narthex)
- Breakfast Club
- World Day of Prayer
- Sister Parish
- Coat of Many Colors (Each September, people from the parish paint four or five houses in the area.)
- Health Fair
- Kitchen Shower (Each January, we collect kitchen items for St. Vincent DePaul)
