The following Kairos Prison Ministry activities are scheduled for June, July, and August.
St Monica Kairos Prison Ministry is looking for men and women for the up-coming Weekends at Plainfield and Rockville Correctional Facilities.
The men of Kairos Prison Ministry will be conducting another Renewal Weekend for 42 offenders inside the Plainfield Correctional Facility October 7 – 10. The Weekend Team members will be attending formation meetings during August and September to prepare for presenting the Weekend.
The women of Kairos Prison Ministry will be conducting another Renewal Weekend for 42 offenders inside the Rockville Correctional Facility November 4-7. The Weekend Team members will be attending formation meetings during September and October to prepare for presenting the Weekend.
Kairos will be co-hosting Gather at the Gazebo July 17/18 with SAM Ministry and Saint Vincent de Paul Ministry.
If you’ve ever considered sharing your Faith with an offender who is hungry for God’s Love and Forgiveness and have thought about being a member of a Kairos Weekend Team inside a correctional facility, but wondered what you’d be getting yourself into, plan on attending the Kairos Informational Meeting on August 3rd in the St Augustine Room from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Former Men’s and Women’s Team Members will conduct a DVD presentation followed by a question & answer session. Or, if you would just like to know more about the Kairos Prison Ministry at St Monica, please join us for the evening.
