Saint Monica Catholic Church

We have learned of the passing of our former beloved pastor of St. Monica, Fr. Al Ajamie, (b. 15 December, 1923, d. 9 January, 2010) who had led the flock at St. Monica between the years of 1974 and 1983.  His funeral Mass will be here at St. Monica this coming Friday, January 15, at 11:00 am with visitation prior to the Mass 9-11am.  Also, there will be a calling and a Vigil Service at the St. Augustine Home where Fr. Al resided for several years on Thursday, January 14, 2010.  The visitation will be 5:00 -7:00 pm with the Vigil Service at 7:00 pm.  Our archbishop, the Most Reverend Daniel Buechlein, OSB, will preside at the funeral.

There will be a mercy meal following the internment at Calvary Cemetery in the St. Ambose Center (the gym).
